Our mission
Guided Paths is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a fully inclusive nurturing environment for youth in need of care. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of the children we serve and improving our communities. We are committed to guiding displaced children and young adults towards a better future, focusing on improving their overall well-being.
Our Values
Few residential homes offer the home experience that Guided Paths will offer to foster children in our community. We go further than the safe home and hot meal. Our program will provide a loving environment that nurtures relationships with friends and biological families. It will create traditions that are festive, fun, and inclusive. Additionally, it will offer guidance in maneuvering through life both inside and outside the home. The program will have an intense focus on academics and career paths. Moreover, it will welcome teenage mothers and their babies, grooming them to become model parents. Guided Paths isn’t just a residential home; it's a village. Additionally, we aim to build a community for foster families and children in our area to alleviate the fear of being placed with strangers for respite and babysitting. Our goal is to lessen the adversities that come with being a foster child and offer them a chance to heal from the challenges they have faced. In doing so it is also our hope that forming a community amongst these children will build lifelong friendships with other children who can relate to the associated struggles they face in their lives.
